In Bed Aluminum Tank 40 Gallons $1120

This aluminum in bed diesel fuel tank that will fit 1987-2007 Ford diesel powered trucks. Chevy and Dodge applications are available too along with larger capacity tanks. This is a true auxiliary fuel system. Do not confuse it with a fuel storage tank and a handful of parts from the hardware store that is being represented as a “complete fuel system”. The fuel tank is manufactured from .125” diamond plate aluminum with a bright polished finish. This tank is designed for use as part of an auxiliary fuel system and it complies with DOT 393.67 and FMVSS 301. It is legal is all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. The tank ships with all parts needed for a safe and legal installation by the average DIY. This will not void any factory warranties.

With this auxiliary fuel system, you will have a toggle switch on the dash. When you flip the switch to Aux Tank, your engine and factory installed fuel pump will be drawing fuel directly from the auxiliary tank. When you operate the truck off of the auxiliary tank, the factory installed fuel level gauge will be reading from the auxiliary tank. If you flip the switch back down, you’re back on the factory installed tank. This is not a fuel transfer tank or system. This tank does NOT pump fuel into the factory tank. This means no fuel spills, check engine lights or Haz Mat cleanup fees because of microprocessor failure or operator error.

This tank ships with all parts needed for installation. There will be a sending unit that reads on the factory fuel gauge and rollover vent valve mounted in the tank before it’s boxed. The fuel tank selector valve, fresh fuel hose, and clamps are included. An easy to use wire harness with switch and plug for the valve is included. All mounting hardware is included.

The aluminum auxiliary diesel tank measures 57” X 12” X 16” tall with an overall height of 18” tall. It will work with most tonneau covers. It will fit with some toolboxes in a long bed truck. Please measure first and give us a call toll free at 877-485-3359 if you have any questions.

The tank is covered by warranty for as long as you own it. Electrical parts are covered by a 90 day warranty. Compare that to the other guys with their one year warranty on the tanks they manufacture.
